Georgetown Village is organizing a day trip to New York City to see The Buena Vista Social Club at a 2:00 PM matinee on Wednesday, November 5. The Program Committee has secured 12 tickets for the show. Participants will be responsible for purchasing their own round-trip Amtrak tickets (estimated between $40–$57), and the group will meet and travel together from Union Station. For assistance with train tickets, the office staff is available to help. Looking ahead, a spring trip is in the works to visit The Frick Collection and possibly the new Michael C. Rockefeller wing at the Met. This outing offers a great chance to enjoy a vibrant cultural experience with fellow members—without the stress of planning.
